No let-up in cinema crisis as warring sides stand firm

Kochi: The tussle between film wholesalers and exhibitors over benefit offering will keep on both sides staying resolute on their perspectives.

Kerala Film Producers' Association, which met on Wednesday, had chosen to pull back Malayalam motion pictures, for example, "Pulimurugan" and "Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan" from the silver screen lobbies.

The move, in any case, did not make the exhibitors flicker. "In the event that the makers pull back Malayalam movies which are presently being screened, we will supplant them with other dialect movies," said Liberty Basheer, president, Kerala Cine Exhibitors' Federation.

The question was activated by theater proprietors' interest for a climb in their share of benefit to half from the current 40%.

As indicated by the current standard, theater proprietors were qualified for 40% of income from ticket deals while the makers got 60%. Read more:- Mobile Number Database Provider
